Staff

The staff at The Church of the Holy Cross have spent many years committed to Christian service. We enjoy serving our community, whether in sharing our faith or just lending a helping hand.

Dianne Taylor

Office Administrator

Dianne Taylor has been at Holy Cross since September, 2004. Prior to coming to our church she worked at Smith Barney for approximately 16 years, where she last held the position of Branch Administrator.

She attended Louisiana College in Pineville and majored in education and secretarial science. Afterwards she was the secretary to the Assistant Administrator at Baptist Hospital in Alexandria, LA.

She married and moved to Shreveport, where she taught school for a short time prior to her son’s birth. Since that time she has been secretary for Shreve City Baptist Church and for Superior Supply Company. She has been married to her husband, Scott, for 41 years. Her greatest accomplishments are her two children, Jeff and Jennifer. Jennifer is married with one daughter, Katelyn, and a son, Tommy.

Charles Alford

Sexton

Charles Alford serves Holy Cross as Sexton, in which capacity he is responsible for maintaining the physical plant, and opening and closing the buildings as necessary.

Charles works cheerfully to assure that the church “puts its best foot forward” and has been publicly praised by Bishop MacPherson for tremendously improving our “curb appearance.”
