Vestry

VestryThe Holy Cross Vestry has 9 members, elected to rotating 3-year terms.

At our Annual Meeting in January each year we elect new vestry members. Vestry service is very important to the life of the church and is a responsibility not to be taken lightly.

Candidates for the vestry should be involved in parish life and worship and in supporting the ministry of the parish, in prayer and participation as well as financially.

Vestry members must be confirmed members in good standing of Holy Cross, for at least one year, and they must be at least 16 years of age.

Sunday: 11:00 am - Holy Eucharist, Rite II (with music) - Church

Weekday Services

Wednesday: 12:15 pm - Holy Eucharist, Enriching Our Worship - Church

In this mid-week service we are using Enriching Our Worship, approved by General Convention to supplement the rites of our Book of Common Prayer. The propers each Wednesday are those designated for the person whom the church remembers on the church calendar. We use the collects and information in Lesser Feasts and Fasts and in the new book, Holy Women, Holy Men.
