Donna found her calling through a powerful chance meeting with a homeless man on the streets of downtown Shreveport. A few leftover meals handed out from her truck became the beginning of a grassroots ministry called “I2D,” which then led to a second ministry she participates in called “Project-ING”. Donna has three children and is “Maw Maw” to nine grand kids. Through the years, she’s also started a community garden to grow fresh produce to help address health needs, and it is maintained by the homeless community. These ministries set the stage for her current position as executive director of Hope House.
